Greenflash Imperial IPA.
Reworked and better then ever. This used to be a 10.5% bruiser that we frequently would get blasted from after work whenever we had it on tap. Now it sits at a more modest 9.4%, ditching its extreme hop bitterness for more complexity. Less sugary and dry then its original recipe, the revamped Imperial now contains the bitterness of grapefruit that is balanced by the sweetness of oranges. Perhaps Greenflash finally gave the IBU crown to Port Brewing and has decided to create IPAs that are more tame, but still impressive. This doesn’t mean this beer isn’t extremely hoppy and I would never recommend this to anyone who isn’t used to West Coast IPAs. Instead it has gone from being Pig Destroyer to Gridlink. Both will ruin you but one is a little easier to swallow. Good shit. A+
